About the Community Views Service
The Community Views service empowers councils and organisations to credibly and efficiently represent their community's perspectives in policy and advocacy. Through the Community Views survey and the views.id reporting platform, it provides nationally benchmarked insights into community values, experiences, and future needs, supporting informed decision-making and strategic planning.
Dan is a social researcher with 15 years of experience exploring community attitudes on a wide range of public policy areas, including planning, transport, health, and housing. In 2020, he joined .id to lead the development of Community Views. Since then, Dan has collaborated with an ever expanding and diverse number of councils, helping them effectively and credibly represent their communities' views in decision making.communities.

Greg Bowden joined .id in January 2025 after nearly 20 years in local government and several years in the corporate sector. Having lived and worked in both regional and metropolitan Queensland, he understands the intersection of business, community, and government. At .id, Greg works with councils across Queensland and the Northern Territory, helping them use data-driven insights to strengthen policy, planning, and community engagement. His results-driven approach ensures organisations make informed decisions that deliver real value to their communities and stakeholders.
