Queensland after Covid
Forecasting population change in the Sunshine State
For many years we've had organisations requesting detailed population forecasts for South East Queensland. This month, we are delighted to share with you our new forecasts for the Sunshine State.
1.7 million people are forecast to join the state by 2041. Where will they live? How will they change the state's demographic makeup? Which coast is growing the fastest? What about Ipswich and Logan? And should we be planning for growth in the state's other regional centres?
Each of these places will play a unique role in the state's growth over the next 20 years. Join our forecasting team as we share our insights to the future of these places, to help you better plan housing, education, and other services for these communities.
